Revis out for Sunday, Pace iffy

Darrelle Revis was in an unfamiliar situation on Sunday night, finding himself parked in front of a TV rather than at the line of scrimmage guarding Brandon Marshall in the Jets' 31-23 victory over the rival Dolphins.
"I was kinda of upset at myself for being hurt, that I couldn't be a part of that win and be a part of covering Brandon if I was out there," Revis said. "He had a great game. He’s a Pro Bowl receiver. ... A little upset that I wanted to be out there to play."
It's going to be at least another week before he does just that, however.
The Pro Bowl cornerback's strained left hamstring still isn't 100 percent and he's been ruled out for Sunday's AFC East matchup with the Bills at The Ralph. Revis said he probably could play, but is adamant he wants to be fully healed before hitting the field again.
"I’m definitely not going out there," Revis said. "I can go out there now if I want to, but that's not the best thing for me and the team right now."
He added: "I’m doing everything I need to get back. I’m feeling good. This week is way better than last week. We are going to keep on progressing, we are going to keep on pushing it even more to where it’s 100 percent and then I don’t feel anything."
Revis said he was never given a grade level for his injury, but was never overly concerned with it.
"When it first happened, we got the MRI to see if anything else was happening," he said. "It came back as just a strain, so from then on now, it’s been getting stronger and everything else. I’m doing what I need to do running and strengthening my hamstring."
While Revis is out for Sunday and will stay back here to rehab and get ready for the Oct. 11 matchup with the Vikings, Calvin Pace's status remains in question.
The linebacker, who's recovering from a broken bone in his right foot, did some individual work on the side in today's practice, but didn't participate in any of the team portion.
"I'm not as optimistic as I was," Rex Ryan said. "But I'm definitely not saying he won't play because there's a chance he will."
