Revis: We know how we play, what we do
Darrelle Revis has just three words for Vontae Davis.

When asked by Newsday if he was aware of Davis' comments about the Miami Dolphins having the best cornerback tandem in the league, Revis just laughed.
"He's got to play a couple more years before he be saying all of that," the Jets cornerback said at Friday's MetLife Stadium fan rally at Bryant Park in Manhattan.
Third-year Dolphins cornerback Davis said Wednesday that he and teammate Sean Smith are the best cornerback duo in the NFL. When asked if he included Revis and Antonio Cromartie in that category, Davis stood firm. "You name them all and I'm putting it out there," he said.
Revis, a good friend of both Davis and Smith, took the verbal jab in stride.
"They're a good tandem. But they've got a lot of work to do," said Revis, who was in contact with both Miami defensive backs during the lockout. " . . . I kind of encouraged them, pushed both of them to become that tandem and be the best they could be . . . and it looks like they're motivated to go out and do it."
Revis, arguably the best cornerback in the league, said he isn't bothered by the lack of respect some NFL players show him and Cromartie.
"No, it really don't matter, because the film don't lie," he said with a laugh. "The film don't lie. You can say what you want to say. You can say the sky's red. But it ain't red. That's just what it is. We know how we play and we know what we do on the field."
