Rex arrives at camp with large leg tattoo

FLORHAM PARK, N.J. -- For the second straight year, Rex Ryan entered camp with a decidedly different look.
No, it wasn't the dramatic difference that was on display last year, when the Jets coach returned to the public spotlight after offseason lap-band surgery to help with his weight loss. Instead, Ryan showed up sporting some new ink on his right leg Monday.
Ryan has a rather large tattoo that extends from the top of his outside calf down to his ankle. He got the tattoo last month; it was first unveiled Monday in a Facebook video to fans.
"I was on vacation in Hawaii," he said. "I've got a couple of tattoos before. I just felt like it. The guy that I went to had given me tattoos before and it's just something that I wanted to do."
The Jets said Ryan will reveal the true meaning in a video on Facebook at noon Tuesday.
