FLORHAM PARK, N.J. - Darrelle Revis' bags will be packed for Denver, but whether he's allowed to actually use his equipment bag is another story.

Rex Ryan said Thursday that he plans to take his Pro Bowl cornerback, along with linebacker Calvin Pace, with the rest of the team when the Jets leave on their chartered flight for Denver Friday.

Revis, who experienced soreness and swelling in his left hamstring after playing for the first time in two weeks Monday, was limited in practice Thursday, and his status remains up in the air.

Revis could end up being a game-time decision, and if he does play, he might be used as a nickel corner or find himself in another role. He got some reps with the first-team defense Thursday, but at the same time, the Jets are game- planning as if he's not going to suit up.

"We're going to take him to Denver one way or the other because he wants to be with his team, whether he can play or not," Ryan said. "And that's where I want him also, OK? So we will definitely take him to Denver with us. Hopefully, he'll be ready to play. He looked good today.

"Again, though, it's too early to say he's definitely going to play. I'm still not comfortable with that yet."

Pace, who made his season debut Monday after recovering from a broken right foot, was really sore earlier in the week. He also was limited in practice but said "I'll be fine" and indicated he expects to play against the Broncos.

"Yeah, he felt good today," Ryan said. "Yesterday, he probably was worse than Darrelle. That's how sore he was. But he did really well today, did exactly what was asked. Again, I'm hoping both of them can go, but we'll see. That flight is a long flight, and we'll see how they come out of that flight and then run around a little bit on Saturday, and we'll see how they're moving around."
