Jets QBs don't seem to be getting much love these days.
A week and a half after Tim Tebow was booed alongside Miami heat guard Dwyane Wade at Yankee Stadium, Jets starting quarterback Mark Sanchez and wide receiver Santonio Holmes were treated to a round of boos at the Garden Wednesday night.
Sanchez and Holmes, who were seated next to each other in the front row, were shown on the JumboTron during the first quarter, according to an ESPN New York report. Neither Jet seemed fazed by the unwelcoming reception from Knicks fans.
Cornerback Antonio Cromartie also was sitting next to Sanchez and Holmes but was introduced separately.
All three declined comment at halftime.
The silver lining for Jets fans: it seems (at least publicly) that Sanchez and Holmes have mended fences.
