Score this fight a KO for Jets' Revis

Chad Ochocinco and Darrelle Revis finally made it to the field to turn their Twitter battle into a real battle, and now the Cincinnati wide receiver might have to make good on a boast from earlier in the week.

Ochocinco said in an interview aired before the game that he would change his name back to Johnson if Revis shut him down. The Jets' Pro Bowl cornerback did just that; Ochocinco was targeted four times but made no catches. Does that mean Revis has naming rights?

Ochocinco appeared to have injured his left knee during pregame warm-ups but played through a dismal first half in which he dropped two throws from Carson Palmer and saw two more deep balls sail over his head with Revis draped all over him. One of the drops came with Jets safety Kerry Rhodes close by, and Ochocinco got up slowly from that misfire.

After another failed Bengals series to start the second half, Ochocinco was announced out with the knee injury.

Only ailing starters sit

A few Bengals starters who were banged up during the week were inactive, including Chaminade grad J.P. Foschi, the starting tight end, who sat with a neck injury. He likely will play next week. So will DE Robert Geathers, DT Domata Peko, RB Cedric Benson and S Chris Crocker, all regulars who were limited in practice this past week. Otherwise, the Bengals played their starters throughout the first half and a series into the third, with poor results. QB J.T. O'Sullivan, who was 3-for-8 for 31 yards but was sacked three times for 31 yards in losses, replaced Palmer (1-for-11, zero passing yards) in the third quarter.

Jets honor stadium

The PA announcer called it the Meadowlands, but still, the Jets did spend the last 26 seasons here and presented a halftime tribute to their stay. On hand were former Jets from every year since the team made Giants Stadium their home, including Joe Klecko, Mark Gastineau, Wesley Walker, Al Toon, Wayne Chrebet and Vinny Testaverde.
