Tebow named No. 95 on NFLN's "Top 100"

Jets backup quarterback Tim Tebow was named No. 95 on NFL Network's "Top 100" list of players. The picks were made by current NFL players.

In case you were wondering, Jets starting quarterback Mark Sanchez did not make the cut.

The show, which aired Sunday night, featured a Tebow interview. For your reading pleasure, here's a snippet of his reaction to being named No. 95.

"It's a huge honor for me and something I'm very thankful for. Because as a player when you put in all the hard work, you want to be respected by your teammates and your competitors and the people you go against every single week and it really is an an honor for me to be on this list. There are so many great players in the NFL, for just a few of them to respect me enough to put me on this list means a lot."

"I'm not sure. i'm so blessed to be in a great organization in New York, and I'm excited to be a Jet, as I told everybody, and I'm really looking forward to this opportunity. I think it's going to be great and just trying to work hard every single day to become a better player. And i'm never satisfied with what I've done or where I've been."

"I have a great relationship with him and we're working great together. I feel like we're pushing each other to get better. He's a great person and player and I'm looking forward to spending a lot more time with him throughout the season."

"I think the number one thing that I've been working on and will continue to work on to develop as a player and as a quarterback is my fundamentals. We all agree that the number one thing with a quarterback is your decision making, but fundamentals is huge as well; from your drops to the footwork, to your fundamentals as a passer."
