When Darrelle Revis came up gimpy late in the first half against the Patriots on Nov. 19 with a strained hamstring, the Pro Bowl cornerback lamented he couldn't get back out there and square off against Randy Moss in the second half.

Revis mentioned that again exactly a week ago today, when he was declared out for last Sunday's tilt against the Bills in Buffalo.

"I wanted to get Randy back," Revis said, pointing to Moss' 34-yard touchdown reception when he pulled up hurt after chasing Moss. "But I gotta wait until we play them later on in the season."

Instead of facing "The Slouch" again on Dec. 6 as originally thought, Revis will get the chance to defend Moss, who was traded to the Vikings today, in five more days.

Revis, still recovering from that left hamstring injury, was on the field practicing during the media's 30-minute window. He also practiced a bit on Friday and it appears as if he's a go for Monday's matchup at New Meadowlands Stadium.

LB Calvin Pace (foot) and Shaun Ellis (knee) were also practicing, as was WR Santonio Holmes as he returns from his four-game suspension for violating the league's substance-abuse policy.

We'll get the official word on who did exactly how much at practice around 2 p.m. when we speak with Rex Ryan. Locker room opens at 1 p.m., and we'll be back with updates as usual.
