FLORHAM PARK, N.J. -- Tebowmania officially touched down Thursday in New Jersey.
Tim Tebow, who was traded from Denver to the Jets on Wednesday, flew into Morristown Municipal Airport shortly after 3 p.m. and was driven into the team's Florham Park practice facility around 5:15 p.m.
The newest Jet, seated in the passenger seat of a black Nissan Armada, waved at a crowd of fans and reporters camped out on Jets Drive -- the street that leads into the complex.
The Tebow trade was first announced by the Jets on Wednesday afternoon, but was stalled for eight hours due to a disagreement over repayment of Tebow's salary advances for the 2012-14 seasons. But both sides compromised and finalized the deal Wednesday night.
