Poll: Fans split on Tebow deal

The Tim Tebow circus has started to calm down -- for now -- as we approach two weeks since the Jets traded for the polarizing quarterback. So how do fans feel?
We asked Newsday.com readers to assess the trade. In the end, over 2,700 people voted in the poll. The results:
A great value - 21%
Worth a shot, no matter what round - 23%
He'll bring the Jets to a Super Bowl - 9%
What are the Jets thinking? - 34%
Can we trade Tebow elsewhere now for a third-round pick? - 13%
While "What were the Jets thinking?" led the way, fans were generally split, with 53 percent reacting favorably to the deal, and 47 percent unfavorably.
