Tim Tebow might be adored by legions of fans, but the Jets backup quarterback apparently hasn’t earned the respect of his peers.

And neither has Jets starter Mark Sanchez.

A Sports Illustrated poll – voted by a total of 180 NFL players – named Tebow the most overrated player in the league with 34 percent of the vote. Sanchez, on the other hand, tied for second with Dallas quarterback Tony Romo with eight percent.

When told of the poll results during his morning presser Thursday, Rex Ryan legitimately couldn’t think of a response.

“Wow,” the Jets coach said with a laugh. “What’re you going to say? I don’t even know how to comment on that.

“I mean, I just know that I’m happy they’re on my football team. It seems like the Jets always get something.”

Dallas quarterback Tony Romo received eight percent of the votes as well. Eagles quarterback Michael Vick came in fourth and injured Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis finished fifth.
