NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Tennessee Titans wide receiver Kendall Wright will not play Sunday against the New York Jets after injured ribs kept him out of practice all week.

Wright was hurt last week in Tennessee’s win over Jacksonville, and this latest injury adds to a disappointing season for the receiver who has a career-low 33 receptions for 390 yards and three touchdowns. Wright missed three games this season with a sprained MCL in his left knee.

His absence means the Titans (3-9) will play three rookie receivers — Dorial Green-Beckham, Tre McBride and Andrew Turzilli - against the Jets (7-5) along with veteran Harry Douglas. Green-Beckham is coming off his best game with five catches for 119 yards and a touchdown. McBride has yet to catch a pass in three games this season and is questionable with an abdomen injury. Turzilli will be making his NFL debut.

The Titans also will be without outside linebacker Derrick Morgan, who will miss his third straight game because of an injured left shoulder. Defensive tackle Mike Martin also is out with injured knee.

Rookie outside linebacker Yannik Cudjoe-Virgil, who tore a patellar tendon in Thursday’s practice, was scheduled to undergo surgery on Friday. He will be placed on injured reserve. The Titans will have to make a roster move to add a player to fill his spot.

Tight end Anthony Fasano (shoulder) and defensive tackle Sammie Hill (knee) are probable.
