Tomlinson ruled out vs. Broncos
It hardly comes as a surprise, given the way he was talking yesterday since he hadn't been able to practice during the short week.
But LaDainian Tomlinson has been ruled out for tomorrow's game against the Broncos here in Denver. The future Hall of Fame running back suffered an MCL sprain in Sunday's loss to the Patriots, and didn't sound overly optimistic he was going to be able to go.
So that means an increased workload for Shonn Greene and Joe McKnight. Rookie Bilal Powell, who's been inactive in all nine games so far, could also see his first action of the season.
Rookie wideout Jeremy Kerley (knee) has also been ruled out, along with TE Shawn Nelson.
