Tomlinson won't fire back at ex-Charger teammates

CORTLAND, N.Y. - LaDainian Tomlinson isn't about to engage in the back-and-forth, refusing to send some negativity to the West Coast.
A few of Tomlinson's former Chargers teammates have been critical of him, saying they believed he acted as if he were bigger than the team and had a me-first attitude. They expressed gratitude that they no longer had to deal with that after the running back's departure.
But Tomlinson preferred to take the high road Tuesday, opting not to blast those who've been talking about him.
"I don't have a reaction to it," Tomlinson said. "I really wish those guys the best. I've moved on and I just try to focus on this team and what I'm doing here and not even worry about what's being said back there."
However, he is a little shocked that his former mates are taking shots at him.
"Yeah, it's pretty surprising because we all had a great relationship," Tomlinson said. "I never put myself in position to be bigger than the team. I mean, I never act like that. So it was surprising, but again, it is what it is. Guys are going to feel differently and I'm moving on."
Folk hero
When Nick Folk looked a bit shaky this spring, Rex Ryan admitted he was a bit concerned.
No more. Ryan said he's convinced the placekicker has rediscovered his groove.
"I'm officially not worried about our Pro Bowl kicker anymore," he said. "I think that Nick is back in form and that is always great to see. When the wind starts howling, then we'll see how he does.
"But he's doing well. He really does look good."
Extra points
QB Kellen Clemens (calf) practiced for the first time Tuesday . . . Ryan on CB Antonio Cromartie's tackle of Tomlinson during a play in practice: "They could've used that in that playoff game." Ryan was referring to Cromartie's whiff on Shonn Greene's 53-yard touchdown run in the Jets' playoff win in San Diego in January.
