Jets tight end Dustin Keller, who has been a favorite target of quarterback Mark Sanchez, appears close to returning after a two-game absence to treat a hamstring injury. Keller worked with his unit and ran pass routes during the portion of practice the media was permitted to watch on Friday ahead of Sunday’s game against San Francisco at MetLife Stadium.

The only Jet who spent his time on a stationary bike was wide receiver Stephen Hill, who suffered a hamstring injury in Miami. Hill labeled himself "iffy" and indicated he's hoping to return next week against Houston, and Jets coach Rex Ryan said of Hill: "I don't anticipate him playing."

But Keller, who officiailly is listed as questionable, is another story. " We’ll find out," Ryan said of Keller. "I’m not willing to rule out any one of those guys from Keller, Thomas, Conner, Turner and Scott. I’m not ready to rule out any of them."

Asked if Keller had any setback this week, Ryan said, "He never had any setback. We’ll see how at progresses."

The Jets' official injury list includes CB Darrelle Revis (knee) as the only player who is out. Hill was doubtful. All of the players listed as questionable practiced on a limited basis, including Keller (hamstring), LB Bryan Thomas (hamstring), WR Patrick Turner (hamstring), FB John Conner (knee) and LB Bart Scott (toe).

San Francisco has three players listed as questionable, including DT Isaac Sopoaga (ankle/knee), WR Ted Ginn (ankle) and RB BRandon Jacobs (knee). Sopoaga did not practice, but Ginn and Jacobs practiced on a limited basis. The 49ers probables include TE Vernon Davis (back), LB Patrick Willis (ankle) and P Andy Lee (hand).
