The Jets got their man – and Kyle Wilson got his spot back. With CB Darrelle Revis set to officially rejoin the team today, Wilson -- the Jets’ first round draft pick who signed a five-year, $13 million contract – effectively will slide back into his intended position of nickel cornerback, as well as handle punt returns.

“Definitely glad to have him back,” Wilson said of Revis’ return. “Definitely happy for him.”

The 23-year-old and the rest of the DBs had been moved up the depth chart during Revis’ holdout, which began Aug. 1. But now that the Jets’ best defensive player is back in New Jersey, the team can revert back to their original plans involving Wilson, Antonio Cromartie, Drew Coleman, etc.

When asked how he felt about losing his starting spot to Revis, Wilson joked: “We’ll duke it out before we go to practice tomorrow.”

One other thing Wilson is happy about: “All the cameras will be on him, so I’ll be cool for a little while,” he said with a smile.
