Aguilar helps E. Hampton move to finals
Esteban Aguilar made seven saves, Denis Espana, Esteban Valverde and J.C. Barrientos each scored and Mario Olaya had two assists as No. 2 East Hampton beat No. 3 Glenn, 3-1, in the Suffolk Class A boys soccer semifinals Monday. East Hampton (13-1-2) plays No. 1 Sayville in the finals at 4 p.m. on Thursday at Dowling College. Glenn finishes 11-7-1.
Sayville 3, Shoreham-Wading River 0: Jared Van Brunt had a goal and an assist as No. 1 Sayville (14-2-1) beat No. 4 Shoreham-Wading River (10-4-3) in the Suffolk Class A semifinals. Rich Geiger made five saves for his seventh shutout of the season. Sayville plays No. 2 East Hampton in the finals at 4 p.m. on Thursday at Dowling College.John A. Coleman Catholic 1, Smithtown Christian 0: Hannah Steffens made three saves for Smithtown Christian (10-3), but Katie Shults scored with 20 minutes left on a restart for John A. Coleman Catholic in the quarterfinals of the Class D state tournament in Middletown.

Sayville 3, East Hampton 2: Joe Black had 14 kills, 20 assists and three aces, Matt Seeba had 15 kills, two blocks and three aces and Scott Litvin added 25 assists as No. 3 Sayville (9-4) beat No. 2 East Hampton (10-3), 25-20, 10-25, 32-30, 16-25, 26-24, in the Suffolk Class B semifinals. Sayville plays No. 1 Eastport-South Manor in the finals at 5 p.m. Wednesday at Longwood.Kings Park 3, Westhampton 0: Jessica Levonick had 14 kills, Tara Trapani had 28 digs and Kendall Corcoran had 39 assists as No. 2 Kings Park (18-2) beat No. 3 Westhampton, 25-23, 25-23, 25-22, in the Suffolk Class A semifinals. Kings Park plays No. 1 Sayville in the finals at 8 p.m. Wednesdayat St. Joseph's College. This is Kings Park's first trip to the finals since 1996.
