He slashed .375/.543/.712 with four doubles, a triple and five home runs — three of which came in the postseason. He went 19-for-19 on stolen base attempts and scored 22 runs as the everyday leadoff hitter. He also caught 15 of 30 attempted base-stealers and picked off another three runners.

Jaden Valdez, Kellenberg, 1B, Sr.

He batted .397 with a .602 on-base percentage, five doubles, seven home runs, 29 RBIs and 20 runs scored.

Bobby Wescott, Plainedge, 1B/LHP, Sr.

He batted .395 with a .561 on-base percentage, eight doubles, two triples, five homers, 35 RBIs, 33 runs scored and nine stolen bases. He also struck out 25 batters over 20 ⅓ innings, pitching to a 3-0 record with one save.

Mason Miles, East Hampton, 3B, Sr.

He batted .410 with a .532 on-base percentage, a 1.335 on-base plus slugging, six doubles, six homers, 31 RBIs and 17 runs scored. He also drew 16 walks and only struck out four times in 79 plate appearances. He went 10-for-10 on steals.

Ryan Tullo, Wantagh, 3B, Sr.

He batted .549 with a 1.563 OPS, 45 hits, seven doubles, two triples, six home runs, 37 RBIs, 38 runs scored, 19 walks and 14 steals in as many attempts. He only struck out three times.

Jagger Adamo, Connetquot, SS, Sr.

He batted .465 with a .592 on-base percentage, nine doubles, two triples, 18 RBIs, 25 runs, 20 walks and only six strikeouts. He also went 19-for-20 in steals.

Tucker Brown, Hauppauge, SS, Sr.

He was an instrumental part of his team’s Suffolk Class AA championship, batting .427 with a .509 on-base percentage. He racked up 41 hits, seven doubles, three triples, a home run, 20 RBIs, 32 runs scored and went 14-for-14 on steals.

Conor Kenefick, West Islip, SS/RHP, Sr.

He batted .422 with six doubles, a triple, two homers and 18 RBIs, 25 runs and 12 steals in 13 tries out of the leadoff spot. He was also the Suffolk League IV champions’ ace, going 6-2 with a 0.77 ERA, 0.72 WHIP, a .136 batting average against, 87 strikeouts and two saves over 54 ⅓ innings.

John Pericolosi, South Side, SS/RHP, Sr.

He batted .450 with a .570 on-base, six doubles, two triples, two homers, 11 RBIs, 25 runs, 17 walks and only five strikeouts. He also stole 21 bases in 22 tries. He was also an effective closer, going 3-for-3 on save opportunities while pitching to a 2.27 ERA, a 0.97 WHIP and 20 strikeouts in just 12 ⅓ innings.

Jacob Vaccariello, St. Anthony's, SS/RHP, Sr.

He batted .329 with an 1.160 OPS, eight home runs, 33 RBIs and 18 runs, helping his squad win the Nassau-Suffolk CHSAA regular-season title. He also pitched to a 4-2 record with 52 strikeouts, a .190 batting average against and a 1.14 WHIP over 32 ⅓ innings.

Dylan Babek, Bellmore JFK, OF/LHP/1B, Jr.

He batted .364 with an 1.136 OPS, nine doubles, five home runs, 24 RBIs, 26 runs and 16 walks. He also pitched to a 3.14 ERA and a .237 opponents’ batting average over 29 innings, most of which were as a reliever. However, he got the start in the Long Island Class AA championship game and went five innings for the win.

Joe Karpowicz, Ward Melville, OF, Jr.

He batted .478 with a .615 on-base, seven doubles, two triples, three homers, 15 RBIs, 29 runs scored and 19 walks, while also going 18-for-19 on steals.

Chris Sultana, Massapequa, OF, Jr.

He batted .470 with a .747 slugging percentage and a 1.308 OPS for the Class AAA state champions, collecting 39 hits, seven doubles, two triples, four homers, 32 RBIs, 24 runs and 17 walks. He also recorded four outfield assists and only committed one error. Between the state semifinals and finals, he went 5-for-6 with two doubles, three RBIs, three runs, a walk and a stolen base.

Aidan Casey, St. John the Baptist, LHP/OF/1B, Sr.

He had a 1.93 ERA and a .195 batting average against, striking out 41 over 36 ⅓ innings. He also recorded a save. He batted .437 with 10 doubles, a triple, a home run, 20 RBIs, 16 runs, six hit-by-pitches and went 8-for-9 on steals.

Conor Dietz, Shoreham-Wading River, LHP/1B, Soph.

He pitched to a 7-1 record, 0.42 ERA, 0.76 WHIP and .117 batting average against across 50 innings, striking out 85 and walking only 17. He also batted .482 with a .586 on-base, two homers, 23 RBIs, 17 walks and seven steals and committed no errors.

Dylan Frers, Kings Park, RHP/3B, Jr.

He posted a 1.09 ERA, a 0.55 WHIP and a .080 batting average against over 51 ⅓ innings, going 8-1 with 58 strikeouts. He batted .425 with six doubles, a triple and 15 RBIs, and even laid down four sacrifice bunts.

Dan Gilroy, Center Moriches, RHP/3B/IF, Sr.

He went 7-2 with a 1.19 ERA, a 0.78 WHIP and 79 strikeouts with only eight walks over 59 innings. He batted .382 with a 1.082 OPS, seven doubles, four home runs and 32 RBIs.

Brendan Rivera, Longwood, RHP/3B, Sr.

He went 7-1 with 65 strikeouts, a 1.08 ERA, a 0.97 WHIP, and a .162 batting average against over 45 ⅓ innings. He also batted .462 with two homers, 18 RBIs and 13 runs, while only striking out three times.

Jack Scannapieco, Massapequa, RHP, Sr.

He pitched in 11 games (10 starts), going 9-0 with a 1.87 ERA and a .240 opponents’ batting average over 45 innings. He was the winning pitcher in the state finals, allowing just one run on five hits and a walk over five-plus innings, striking out five.

Brandon Seddio, Newfield, RHP/OF, Sr.

He recorded a 1.32 ERA, a 1.08 WHIP and a .224 opponents’ batting average. He struck out 42 batters over 37 frames. He also batted .393 with a .500 on-base, a triple, a homer, 12 RBIs and 16 runs.

Jagger Franco, Longwood, SS/C/RHP, Jr.

He was a terror on the basepaths, going 32-for-34 on steals and scoring 30 runs. He batted .400 with three home runs and 19 RBIs. He also pitched to a 6-0 record, 0.91 ERA, 0.82 WHIP and .130 batting average against.

Everett Zarzicki, Kings Park, RHP/OF, Jr.

He had a 1.89 ERA, a 0.86 WHIP and a .218 batting average against over 55 ⅔ innings, striking out 73 and walking only seven. He also slashed .391/.494/.536 with eight doubles, a triple and 19 RBIs.
