Wang brothers leading Jericho

Defending champion Jericho moved one step closer to clinching its second straight county title with a 4-3 win over Great Neck South on Thursday.

One of the reasons for Jericho's success is its second doubles team of brothers Justin and Jason Wang, who remain undefeated this season. Coach Mark Burkowski said that they have "improved tremendously and have shown it on the courts in every game."

For a sport that has only been around a few seasons, the Jayhawks and their coach have noticed the big difference in style of play since the league started. "Every game is tight and every match is a battle," Burkowski said. "The league has improved tenfold just from the beginning of the year. The kids are playing real badminton."
