A look at this week's top performers in softball and baseball:
SOFTBALL
Avery Betancourt, Mepham: Betancourt went 3-for-5 with three stolen bases and two runs in a 13-3 win over Bethpage.
Avery Desner, Plainview-Old Bethpage JFK: Desner struck out 15 in 6 1/3 scoreless innings and drove in the go-ahead RBI with a single in the top of the eighth of an 8-7 win over Calhoun.
Danica Golden, Half Hollow Hills: Golden went 3-for-4 with two home runs and three RBIs. She allowed four hits in a complete game, 11-2 win over Patchogue-Medford.
Mallory Gulotta, Division: Gulotta hit a three-run home run in an 8-3 win over Hicksville and a two-run home run in a 5-2 win over Garden City. She tossed complete games in both victories.
Adyson Hartcorn, Connetquot: Hartcorn hit a grand slam and a two-run home run in a 15-6 win over Lindenhurst.
Katherine Krayewski, Kings Park: Krayewski drove in the go-ahead run in the top of the seventh inning and went 5-for-5 with three doubles in a 13-12 win over West Islip.
Cate Ropiak, East Islip: Ropiak struck out 11 in a complete game and went 3-for-3 with a run, a stolen base and three RBIs in a 5-3 win over West Babylon..
Brooke Simmons, Glen Cove: Simmons threw an eight-inning no-hitter with 12 strikeouts and went 3-for-4 with a home run in a 4-2 win over Mineola.
Ahria Treschl, Patchogue-Medford: Treschl hit a game-tying grand slam in the bottom of the seventh inning of an 11-9 win over Longwood.

BASEBALL
Tyler Brown, Sayville: He struck out nine in a two-hitter, a 2-0 win over Mount Sinai.
Jacob Cooke, Floyd: He struck out eight in a one-hitter, an 8-0 win over Brentwood.
Thomas Costarelli, East Islip: He went 3-for-3 with two doubles and struck out 11 in a two-hitter, a 7-1 win over Deer Park.
Gavin Diegnan, Wantagh: He threw his second consecutive six-inning no-hitter, striking out 12 in a 10-0 win over Floral Park.
Connor Henigman, Northport: He went 3-for-4 with a three-run home run, a grand slam and eight RBIs in a 15-8 win over Huntington.
Colin Horowitz, Farmingdale: He struck out seven in a five-inning no-hitter, a 10-0 win over Hicksville.
Blake Jaworowski, Lynbrook: He hit a walk-off single in a 3-2 win over Valley Stream South. He also earned the win in relief, striking out three in 1 2/3 innings.
Ryan Margolis, Sachem East: He hit a walk-off single in a 4-3 win over Ward Melville.
Trevor Meehan, East Hampton: He struck out 11 in a 101-pitch no-hitter, a 9-1 win over Half Hollow Hills West.
Tim Pendergast, West Hempstead: He hit two home runs and had six RBIs in a 12-8 win over Great Neck South.
John Pericolosi, South Side: He hit a solo home run and a grand slam and struck out six in the final four innings to earn the win in an 11-6 victory over Manhasset.
Luke Rizzi, Longwood: He hit a walk-off single in a 4-3 win over Whitman.
Vito Spadafina, Rocky Point: He hit a walk-off single in the eighth inning of a 2-1 win over Islip.
Ryan Valente, Mineola: He hit a walk-off home run in the eighth inning of a 6-5 win over Clarke. He threw three scoreless innings in relief for the win.
Matthew Zambriski, Riverhead: He struck out 16 in a perfect game, a 22-0 win over Central Islip. He threw only 75 pitches, including 65 strikes.
