Mason Linken, Friends Academy

Linken pitched seven shutout innings, striking out 10 and walking one, for Friends Academy in its 1-0 win over East Rockaway.

Will Lynn, Bethpage

He struck out 13 in a two-hit shutout and hit a solo home run in a 3-0 win over Mepham.

Matt Muzikant, Long Island Lutheran

He struck out five and allowed two hits and no walks on 76 pitches in a complete game 2-0 win over Kellenberg.

Chris Rizzo, East Islip

He hit a go-ahead two-run single in the top of the 10th and struck out five in four scoreless innings of relief in a 4-2 win over Deer Park.

Brandon Seddio, Newfield

He struck out five and allowed two runs in five innings and went 1-for-4 with an RBI and a run in a 12-2 win over Centereach. He also went 2-for-4 with two RBIs in a 7-3 loss to the Cougars.

Jacob Vaccariello, St. Anthony's

He hit a grand slam in a 9-5 win over St. Dominic on Tuesday, then hit a two-run homer in a 10-8 win over the Bayhawks on Wednesday.

Shane Villaume, Division

He struck out seven and needed 72 pitches to throw a no-hitter in a 3-0 win over Roslyn. He walked none, as Roslyn’s only baserunner reached on an error.

Alex Waye, Amityville

He hit a walk-off RBI single in the seventh inning of a 10-9 win over Islip. He went 3-for-4 with three RBIs and three stolen bases.

Jack Yonkman, Division

Yonkman went 3-for-3 with two doubles and five RBIs. He also earned his first varsity win on the mound, pitching five shutout innings and allowing four hits for Division in an 11-0 win over Roslyn.

SOFTBALL

Charlotte Barry, Bellport

Barry picked up the win and went 3-for-4 with a home run, three RBIs and three runs in a 14-2 win over East Hampton.

Kate de Blasi, Eastport-South Manor

De Blasi hit a walk-off single in the seventh and went 2-for-4 with a double and three RBIs in a 9-8 win over West Babylon.

Gianna and Lucia DeGrotta, Half Hollow Hills

Gianna DeGrotta hit a walk-off double in the seventh inning of a 11-10 win over Sachem East. She had two doubles and three RBIs and her younger sister, Lucia, went 3-for-4 with two RBIs and two runs.

Sienna Erker, Massapequa

She hit three home runs and five RBIs in a 15-10 win over Miller Place. They were the first home runs of her varsity career.

Karley Handleman, Oceanside

She went 2-for-4 and hit a walk-off RBI single with two outs in the seventh of a 3-2 win over Wantagh.

She struck out 10 and allowed four hits in a complete game shutout and went 4-for-4 with three runs and an RBI in a 7-0 win over Mineola.
