25 girls bowlers to watch in 2018-19

Sari Arrow, Plainview-Old Bethpage JFK, Sr.: Arrow averaged 167.03 last season and has been a member of the varsity team since seventh grade.
Canan Bademci, Patchogue-Medford, Fr.: The freshman bowled a 204.27 as an eighth-grader and registered a high-game of 267.
Jennilee Barayuga, St. Dominic, Sr.: Barayuga averaged 143 last year, leading St. Dominic.
Julia Bocamazo, East Islip, Sr.: Bocamazo ranked second in Suffolk average last year with a 222.28 and was a member of the state champion Section XI All-Star team.

Amanda Scarfogliero, Middle Country, Sr.: Newfield’s Scarfogliero bowled a 256 in Game 6 of the team’s Suffolk Championship victory. She averaged 207.27 last season and was a member of the state champion Middle Country team.
Hannah Skalacki, Middle Country, Soph.: Skalacki, from Newfield, was last year’s Newsday Girls Bowler of the Year. She led Long Island with a 223.37 average as a freshman and contributed to Middle Country’s state championship title.
Allison Sliwinski, Kellenberg, Jr.: Sliwinski averaged 160 last season and contributed toward Kellenberg’s second consecutive CHSAA title.
Julianna Spina, East Islip, Sr.: Spina rolled a 218.1 last season and was a member of the state champion Section XI All-Star team.
