East Meadow's fifth is top LI finish in state boys bowling

East Meadow took fifth place in the state boys bowling tournament Saturday with a 5,454 series, led by Jeff Juarez's game-high 219 in Game 1 of a 1,193 series.
Sachem East finished seventh at the meet at Babylon Lanes with a 5,439 series as Buffalo Frontier took the state crown.
Nick Caruana led Sachem East with a game-high 233 in Game 4 of an 1,195 series.
