Newsday's annual list, in alphabetical order, of the top Long Island high school girls bowlers as the 2025-26 season gets underway. All stats are from last season unless otherwise noted.

Brooke Andresen, East Islip, Sr.

Andresen’s 213.17 average ranked second on Long Island. Her 685 series and 268 high game were each sixth in Suffolk.

Holland Boder, MacArthur, Sr.

Boder’s 185.6 average ranked fifth in Nassau and helped lead the Generals to a county title.

Makayla Boyd, East Islip, Sr.

Boyd’s 186.62 average ranked 10th in Suffolk. She had a 226 high game and a 666 high series.

Abby Buenaventura, MacArthur, Sr.

Buenaventura’s 199.06 average was second in Nassau. She had a 666 high series for the Nassau Division I champions.

Kerri Callahan, Kellenberg, Sr.

Callahan had a 172.5 average, the top mark in the CHSAA. She won the league and state individual titles.

Trishna Desai, Smithtown, Jr.

Desai’s 201.5 average was fourth in Suffolk. She had a 646 high series and her 253 high game ranked eighth.

Kaylee Dwyer, Longwood, Jr.

Dwyer’s 714 high series ranked third in Suffolk. Her 196.64 average was sixth.

Izzy Grillo, Comsewogue, Jr.

Grillo’s 740 high series was the best mark on Long Island and her 279 high game was second. Her 193.8 average ranked seventh in Suffolk.

Julia Harrington, Bayport-Blue Point, Soph.

Harrington had a 180.08 average, 622 high series and a 247 high game while competing for the boys team.

Meeya Leaderman, East Islip, Jr.

Leaderman, Newsday’s Girls Bowler of the Year, led Long Island with a 213.28 average. She had a 279 high game and 718 high series.

Kaitlyn Lesica, Island Trees, Fr.

Lesica had a 171.1 average and was a member of the Nassau Division II All-Star team.

Jossalyn Liverpool, Longwood, Jr.

Liverpool had a 180.48 average, 660 high series and a 235 high game.

Carissa Lugares, Commack, Sr.

Lugares had a 179.77 average, 608 high series and a 235 high game.

Tatum Palme, Islip, 8th

Palme had a 176.55 average and a 629 high series. Her 276 high game ranked fifth in Suffolk.

Victoria Perillo, Plainedge, Sr.

Perillo had a 172.1 average to lead the Red Devils.

Sabrina Quaranta, Sachem, Jr.

Quaranta had a 182.97 average, 632 high series and a 226 high game.

Mia Santiago, St. John the Baptist, Sr.

Santiago had a 156.63 average for the CHSAA champions.

Peyton Scholl, East Islip, Sr.

Scholl had a 176.09 average, 602 high series and a 232 high game.

Abby Turney, Smithtown, Jr.

Turney had a 176.43 average, 571 high series and a 208 high game.

Morgan Winchell, Sewanhaka, Sr.

Winchell’s 190.2 average ranked fourth in Nassau. She finished second in the Nassau individual championship after winning the event the prior two seasons.
