BOYS LACROSSE

ETHAN FAMULARO and RILEY HICKAM, Oceanside

Tied a 7 against Seaford, Famularo scored the decider with 14 seconds left. Hickam saved 14 shots and saved another 11 in a 11-4 win against Locust Valley.

NOAH GREGOREK, Shoreham-Wading River

One of Suffolk’s final undefeated teams is no longer so, after Gregorek’s five goals and three assists led SWR to a 13-5 win over Harborfields (6-1).

LOUIS MONTELESSE, Ward Melville

The Patriots have quietly jumped to a 4-1 start, headlined by an impressive 12-10 win over Lindenhurst where Montelesse scored five goals and assisted another. He also had three goals and three assists against Commack.

GABRIEL NATHAN, Holy Trinity

Nathan scored four goals and assisted another to lift Holy Trinity to an overtime win over Hicksville in the Seawane Cup.

ALEC NOTARO, South Side

There are few things as sweet as going 18-for-18 at the faceoff X, but Notaro also had 18 ground balls against Carey.

DEVIN PACCIONE, Wantagh

Paccione, one of the best on Long Island, dominated this week with a combined eight goals and 10 assists in wins over Sachem North and North Shore.

DAVID QUESADA, Clarke

He scored three goals and supplied the winning assist to Ryan Salveson in Clarke’s 8-7 win over East Meadow.

JAVEN TAFF, Sayville

He had three goals and three assists in a triple-overtime thriller, including the goal to force OT with 45 seconds left, and the winning goal off an assist from Jamison Holt.

NICK VICINANZA, Kings Park

It may have come in a 9-8 loss to Sayville, but Vicinanza kept his team alive with a remarkable 27-save performance through triple overtime.

GIRLS LACROSSE

ASHLEY BATTISTA, Floral Park

Battista scored five goals against Mepham, helping the Knights improve their record to 5-1.

COLBIE BURKE, Rocky Point

A 12-10 win over Babylon wouldn’t have been possible without Burke’s four goals and three assists.

ALYSSA CUEVAS, North Babylon

Her six goals and one assist against Copiague lifted North Babylon to its second win of the season.

KAYLEIGH HUGGARD, MacArthur

At MacArthur’s inaugural Trevor Huggard Memorial Lacrosse Day, it’s only fitting that Kayleigh dominated on a day dedicated to her older brother’s passing. She scored four goals and two assists to lift MacArthur to a win over East Meadow.

PAGE KELLERSHON, Mattituck

She delivered eight goals and three assists against Glenn. It’s Kellershon’s second game this season with at least eight points.

GRACE MILLER, Bethpage

It’s impossible to ignore Miller’s astounding 12-goal game, not to mention seven draw controls, in a 16-13 win against Glenn. Bethpage has won six straight.

TESSA MATOZZO, Locust Valley

Matozzo scored her fifth goal of the game with 10 seconds remaining to force overtime against North Shore before Natalie Smith’s golden goal in an 11-10 win.

NEVAEH MOTES, Division

Division rolled to its fifth win of the year off the back of Motes, who scored six goals and assisted two more against Mineola.

AVA OBLOJ, West Islip

In a battle between undefeated West Islip and undefeated Harborfields, Obloj scored four goals and had three assists to ensure the Lions remained unbeaten.
