Blake Bohlen took a feed from Vincent Antonelli, shook off a defender and beat the keeper from 22 yards out with 7:00 left in the second overtime to give Port Jefferson (17-1-1) a 2-1 win Saturday afternoon over Alexander Hamilton High School in the Class C Southeast Regional soccer final. Port Jefferson advances to the state semifinals against Lansing, Saturday at Middletown High School at 11 a.m.

"It's significant that the younger players are part of this now, so when they get older and are part of the starting lineup, they've had game experience at the regional and state levels," Port Jefferson coach John Poulianos said.

After the first overtime, Poulianos moved Bohlen from midfield to attack. "I talked to the boys, and they wanted to play for the win," he said. "So we moved Blake up front, and I felt that between him and Antonelli, we could generate a goal."

FOOTBALLBilly Andrle had touchdown runs of five and 45 yards in the first half and Robbie Healy rushed for all five of his team's second-half TDs as No. 2 East Meadow beat fifth-seeded Massapequa, 55-21, Saturday in a Nassau Conference I football semifinal.
