Very few teams have been able to solve powerhouse Brentwood the last few seasons. Commack has defeated Brentwood twice the last two seasons, including ending Brentwood's 78-game game undefeated league streak two years ago.

Commack has beaten out Brentwood for the Suffolk League I title the last two years, but had its season ended in the semifinals in 2009 and in the finals last year by Brentwood.

Commack will be in contention again with a very strong team. The team is led by senior midfielder Jack Miller, senior goalkeeper Jake Amereno, senior forward Mike Biondo, and junior defender Stefan Mueller.

The Cougars have a lot of seniors and a stong midfield. The Cougars have appeared in the finals six times since 1995 and lost each time.
