Good team will be left out in Conference IV

There will be a very irate team from Nassau Conference IV on Tuesday night when the regular season comes to an end. With the new format in Nassau this season, 16 teams from Class A make the postseason and the top four teams in four conferences makes the postseason. That means one very good team from Conference IV will miss the playoffs and it will be unfair.

New Hyde Park and Wantagh are tied for first with 21 points followed by Garden City (19), Roslyn (18), and Jericho (17).

Here are the matchups with two games left for each team except New Hyde Park, which has one.

Jericho at Roslyn, 10:30 a.m.

Wantagh at Garden City, 10:30 a.m.

Tuesday

Garden City at Jericho, 4:30 p.m.

Roslyn at New Hyde Park, 4:30 p.m.

Westbury at Wantagh, 4:15 p.m.
