Healion's OT goal gives Comsewogue win
Alex Healion scored the winning goal on a penalty kick in the second overtime to lead Comsewogue to a 2-1 victory over Centereach Wednesday in non-league boys soccer.
Garden City 4, South Side 0: Cosmo Veneziale scored twice for Garden City to upset the two-time defending Class A champion in Nassau Conference IV.
Division 3, Lawrence 2: Enzo Jerez's chip shot over the goalie's head with 13 minutes left provided Division with the winner in Conference V. John Hauschild's goal off a through ball from Shane McLaughlin in the 74th minute tied it at 2.
Lawrence Woodmere Academy 4, Waldorf 3: Gerardo Arunjo scored the go-ahead goal unassisted with 20 minutes left for LWA in IPPSAL. Bryan Ruiz-Diaz had two goals and Bryant Cupidore added two assists.
GIRLS SOCCER
Baldwin 2, Mepham 0: Jessica Mouridian scored off a penalty shot with 26 minutes remaining in the first half and Nicole Gardianos sealed the win with a goal on a breakaway with three minutes left in the game to lead Baldwin in Conference AA-I. Amber Harrison made 15 saves, including a key stop on a free kick with five minutes remaining and a save on a breakaway two minutes later.
Calhoun 1, Syosset 0: Kristina Gandolfo scored on a rebound off a shot by Michelle Iacono with nine minutes to play to propel Calhoun in Conference A-II. Alissa Battaglia had six saves in the shutout.
Wantagh 6, Floral Park 2: Eighth-grader Francesca Venezia recorded a hat trick in her varsity debut for Wantagh in Conference A-II.
Mattituck 3, Miller Place 2: Amanda Gatz scored on a rebound off a shot by Liz Lasota with a minute left to win it for Mattituck in non-league. Lasota had a goal and two assists.
West Islip 3, Smithtown West 2: Amanda Martinez scored off a breakaway on a pass from Chelsea Weir with 1:30 left to win it for West Islip in non-league. The Lions scored all three goals in the second half. Molly Ohman scored the equalizer with 5:30 left. Weir finished with a goal and an assist.

Half Hollow Hills 2, Whitman 1: Melissa Gaglione scored the winning goal 45 seconds into overtime for Half Hollow Hills in Division I.
Manhasset 2, Friends Academy 1: Madison Molinari scored the overtime winner for Manhasset (2-0) with 2:34 left to play in League I.

Herricks 3, Calhoun 2: Jeffrey Kim had 13 kills and Steven Corona added 41 assists for Herricks in a 25-19, 24-26, 25-22, 19-25, 25-22 Conference II win.
GIRLS VOLLEYBALL
Floyd 3, Commack 2: Ashley McCormack had 24 kills, Justice Smith had 36 assists and Jade DeGrauw 22 digs to lead Floyd to a 22-25, 25-22, 25-16, 21-25, 25-20 win in League I.
Mount Sinai 3, Southampton 0: Caleigh Dolese had 22 straight aces in Game 1 and added 10 kills to lead Mt. Sinai in a 25-6, 25-15, 25-15 win in League VII. Allie Rose added five blocks and six kills.
Hampton Bays 3, Bayport-Blue Point 2: Andrea Tufano ended a back-and-forth Game 5 with her 17th kill, sealing the match for Hampton Bays in a 25-16, 17-25, 25-23, 19-25, 25-23 win in League VII.
Lynbrook 3, Plainedge 2: Kasey Keller had 14 kills, Nicole Milillo had 21 digs and Sydney Sullivan had 14 digs and eight kills to lead Lynbrook to a 27-25, 25-23, 21-25, 18-25, 25-15 win in Conference A II.
