Brentwood defeated Scarsdale 1-0 in the Class AA semifinals and advances to the finals.

Johnathan Interiano scored from 15 yards out on the left side to put the Indians ahead 1-0 with 18:58 remaining in the second half.

Brentwood (19-1-2) will face Section III's Baldwinsville (18-1-2) in the Class AA finals at 1 p.m. tomorrow at Faller Grass Field.

Earlier in the day Friends Academy defeated Madrid Waddington, 5-2, in a Class C state semifinal to advance to the state championship for the second year in a row.

Friends Academy (14-1-2) will face Marathon (16-3-1) in the Class C state championship tomorrow at 12:30 p.m. at the Faller Turf Field

Sayville defeated Goshen, 1-0, in a Class A state semifinal and advances to the state championship for the first time in school history.

Vincent Sakk scored the game-winner for the Golden Flashes with 9:22 left in the second half on a cross by Sean Fullam.

Sayville (19-1-1) will face Pittsford Mendon (17-2-2) in the Class A state championship tomorrow at 10:30 a.m. at the Faller Grass Field.
