Rankings entering Monday

1.  St. Anthony’s (3-0-1): The Friars defeated Ward Melville, 4-1, and opened the CHSAA season with a 1-0 win over St. John the Baptist.

2.  Brentwood (2-0): Frank Guzman had one goal and two assists in a 4-0 win over Bay Shore and Andreas Franco scored in overtime in a 2-1 win over West Islip.

3.  Chaminade (3-0-1): After a non-league scoreless tie against Farmingdale, the Flyers opened the CHSAA schedule with a 4-0 win over St. Dominic and then defeated Iona Prep, 3-0. The Flyers haven't allowed a goal in four games.1

4.  Farmingdale (1-0-1): Victor Montano scored two goals for the Dalers in a 3-0 win over Port Washington.

5. Half Hollow Hills West (4-0): The offense is rolling for the Colts, who have scored 17 goals. Junior Justin Connor scored his 20th career goal in a 4-1 win over Smithtown East.

6.  Hicksville (1-0):  Tim Parker and Peter DiLorenzo each had a goal and an assist as Hicksville opened the season with a 2-0 win.

7.  Commack (2-0): Commack won two games in overtime by the score of 2-1, against Kings Park and Miller Place.

8.  South Side (0-0-2): South Side opened the season with a 1-1 tie against Baldwin and a scoreless tie against North Shore.

9. Newfield (2-0): Newfield has outscored Comsewogue and Sachem East, 7-1, in its first two games.

10.  Smithtown West (2-0): The Bulls defeated Ward Melville, 2-0, and Deer Park, 5-0.
