Erik Adon rushed for 107 yards and four touchdowns Saturday to lead East Islip over Riverhead, 50-36, in a Suffolk Division II game. Jack Hannigan completed 4 of 8 passes for 195 yards and two touchdowns and also ran for 108 yards as the Redmen (2-0) racked up 460 yards of total offense.

Matt Walter had two receptions for 110 yards and a touchdown, rushed for 45 yards and a score, and had 12 tackles and an interception at linebacker for East Islip. He also was 6-for-6 on extra-point attempts. Defensive end Bob Heyward had seven tackles, two for losses. Riverhead is 1-1.

Central Islip 14, Whitman 13: Kevin Mowatt ran for 121 yards and a touchdown on 21 carries and also returned an interception 80 yards for a score to lead Central Islip (1-1) in Suffolk II on Saturday. Mowatt's 2-yard TD run gave the Musketeers a 14-7 lead with 1:38 left in the third quarter. Whitman (0-2) scored a touchdown with 37 seconds left and attempted a two-point conversion, but linebacker Mike Myers intercepted the pass to seal the win for Central Islip. Defensive end Malcolm Pridgeon had 14 tackles, including three for losses.

North Babylon 35, Half Hollow Hills West 34: Brandon Sobotker, a freshman, rushed for 226 yards on 18 carries with three touchdowns, including a 9-yard TD run that put North Babylon (1-1) on top 35-21 with 8:41 left in the fourth quarter in Suffolk II on Saturday. Jared Zeigler chipped in with 18 carries for 82 yards. For Hills West (1-1), Anthony Lucarelli completed 11 of 25 passes for 354 yards and five TDs, and Jake Klose had seven receptions for 224 yards and two touchdowns.

Smithtown East 36, Centereach 29: John Daniggelis' 25-yard touchdown run gave Smithtown East (1-1) a 36-21 lead with 5:07 remaining in the fourth quarter in a Suffolk II game on Saturday. Daniggelis accounted for 364 of Smithtown East's 485 yards of total offense. He ran for 156 yards on 12 carries and completed nine passes for 208 yards. Nick Cutrone, Jake Darpa and Vittoria Cole combined for 24 tackles. Centereach is 1-1.

West Islip 41, Bay Shore 7: Sam Ilario rushed for 221 yards and three touchdowns on 28 carries to lead West Islip (1-1) over Bay Shore (1-1) in Suffolk II on Saturday. Ilario opened the scoring with a 33-yard TD run early in the first quarter. He then made one of his two interceptions and followed with an 18-yard TD run to give West Islip a 14-0 lead with 6:49 left in the quarter. Matt McKeon added 129 rushing yards on 12 carries, including touchdown runs of 25 and 41 yards in a 20-0 fourth quarter. J.J. Downey recovered a fumble and ran 27 yards for a TD to cap the scoring.

Copiague 24, West Babylon 21: Jose Taveras' 2-yard TD reception from Tyler O'Brien with seven minutes remaining in the fourth quarter allowed Copiague (1-1) to retake the lead at 24-21 in Suffolk II on Friday. The Eagles led 18-14 heading into the fourth, but Davante Penn's 25-yard TD run early in the quarter gave West Babylon (0-2) a 21-18 advantage. Tavares had a team-leading five receptions for 46 yards. Willie McFadden had 18 rushes for 137 yards and two scores.

St. Francis Prep 30, Kellenberg 20: Justin Guerre rushed for 142 yards and three TDs on 22 carries, and added 95 yards on three receptions to lead St. Francis Prep (2-1, 2-0) in a CHSFL game on Saturday. Kyle Driscoll hit Connor Goss for a 13-yard TD to bring Kellenberg (0-3, 0-2) within 14-12 at halftime. Driscoll completed 17 of 25 passes for 129 yards and also rushed for two TDs. Goss had 10 catches for 97 yards.

BOYS SOCCERSt. Anthony's 4, East Hampton 0: Justin Cafora's goal in the 30th minute gave St. Anthony's (6-1) a 1-0 halftime lead Saturday. The Friars scored three goals in the second half to seal the win.
