Fourteen players, led by the record-setting Newsday All-Long Island combination of Oceanside quarterback Tyler Heuer (above) and wide receiver Gene Garay, will represent Long Island on the Downstate team that will play in the second annual Empower Upstate-Downstate High School Football Classic on June 5 at the Carrier Dome in Syracuse.
