Alex Cerrone found an open Brian Moriarty on a 68-yard reverse receiver scoring pass midway through the fourth quarter to lift No. 6 Floral Park to a 21-17 upset of third-seeded Lynbrook yesterday in a Nassau III quarterfinal.

Brian Barry had a fourth-quarter interception and Moriarity intercepted a pass in the third, which both set up scoring plays for Floral Park (6-3). Josh Sanders ran for 71 yards, including a 13-yard TD in the third, Robert Sjoberg had 14 tackles and Connor Horan added 12 tackles Floral Park, which plays No. 1 Plainedge in a semifinal at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Hofstra.Glen Cove 28, Bethpage 7: David Perkins scored on a 1-yard run with three minutes left in the first quarter to give No. 5 Glen Cove (5-4) a 14-0 lead in a Nassau III quarterfinal. Ryan Perkins ran for 70 yards and a touchdown on 17 carries and Billy Niece ran for 42 yards and an 8-yard run early the third to extend the lead to 22-7. Alex Aguillar had an interception and a 4-yard TD run, while Joshua Martin and Manny Sican each had an interception for Glen Cove, which plays No. 2 Lawrence in a semifinal at 10 a.m. Saturday at Hofstra.Lawrence 42, Sewanhaka 12: Joe Capobianco threw for 258 yards and four touchdowns to lead No. 2 Lawrence (8-1) over No. 7 Sewanhaka (4-5) in a Nassau III quarterfinal. Sam Locassio had four catches for 117 yards and two touchdowns his second score gave Lawrence a 35-6 halftime lead. Jordan Fredericks and Elijah Jones each had a touchdown catch, while Simon Jones had a sack for Lawrence.Plainedge 49, Hewlett 14: Nick Frenger's 71 yard run with 2:58 left in the first quarter gave top-seeded Plainedge a 14-0 lead in their Nassau III quarterfinal against (8) Hewlett. John Gullo's 80-yard kickoff return with 15 seconds left in the quarter put the Red Devils ahead 21-6. Gianfranco Soriente rushed for 122 yards on nine carries and scored two touchdowns. Frenger ran for 95 yards on five carries. Plainedge (8-1) will play at 12:30 Saturday at Hofstra in the conference semifinals.Roosevelt 46, North Shore 0: Shamari Kirkpatrick returned the opening kickoff of the second half 80 yards to give No. 1 Roosevelt (9-0) a 34-0 lead in a Nassau IV semifinal. Kirkpatrick also ran for 155 yards and a TD on seven carries. Johnnie Akins ran for 261 yards and two TDs on 20 carries and Kaheem Carter made six tackles to lead Roosevelt, which faces No. 5 Valley Stream North in a semifinal at 4 p.m. on Thursday at Hofstra. North Shore finishes 3-6.West Hempstead 34, Mineola 6: Enrique McFarlane ran for 182 yards and two TDs on 14 carries and also had two receptions for 24 yards and a score to lead No. 3 West Hempstead (7-2) over No. 6 Mineola (4-5) in a quarterfinal. Bruce Gibbs added 93 yards on the ground with two TDs on 13 carries and Vinny Messina had eight tackles for West Hempstead, which plays Seaford in a semifinal at 7:30 p.m. Thursday.

Seaford 45, Clarke 14: Justin Cestro had 24 carries for 195 yards and three touchdowns to lead No. 2 Seaford (7-2) over No. 7 Clarke (4-5) in a quarterfinals. Cestro scored off tackle on a 13-yard run to give Seaford a 21-0 lead. Pat Bizzarro rushed for 153 yards and two touchdowns on 14 carries and Joey Bonijovi rushed for 45 yards on four carries. James O'Hagan had 12 tackles and two sacks, Nicky Silvestry recorded 11 tackles and one sack and Matt Natland recorded eight tackles and a sack for Seaford. Frank Lauretti had two sacks and Seaford kicker Matt Murphy went 6-for-6 on extra points and hit a 26-yard field goal.
