Da'Rell Hatcher continued his fine season with 171 yards on six carries and two touchdowns as second-seeded Amityville cruised to a 40-7 win over No. 3 Mount Sinai in a Suffolk IV semifinal Saturday.

Hatcher scored on a 7-yard pass from Sean Walters early in the first quarter to give Amityville a 6-0 lead.

Amityville took a commanding lead after a 28-point second quarter -- Hatcher had an 11-yard run, Elijah Kelly scored on a five-yard run and a 30-yard pass reception from Walters, and Walters also added a 4-yard scamper to give the Warriors (9-1) a 34-0 halftime lead.

Hatcher added two PAT conversion runs. Walters completed all six of his pass attempts for 107 yards and two touchdowns. He also had 94 yards and two rushing touchdowns on 14 carries.

Rasheed Marshall had four tackles, two for a loss, and recovered a fumble, and Damian Palmer added a sack for Amityville, which will play No. 1 Glenn in the Suffolk IV final at 7 p.m. Thursday at Stony Brook University.

Dominick Gonclaves scored on a 1-yard run in the fourth quarter for Mt. Sinai (7-3).
