Bay Shore took over and went three-and-out. Karl Allison scored on a 10-yard run with 8:36 left to tie the score at 28 for Bay Shore (0-1). Luke Miller scored on a 4-yard run with 10:53 left to give Floyd (1-0) a 29-22 lead. Miller rushed for 70 yards and two TDs on 16 carries. Sophomore quarterback A.J. Otranto was 6 of 9 passing for 95 yards in his first start.Brentwood 21, Whitman 6: Durrell Lumdsen had two first-quarter TD receptions from Jordan Williams to put Brentwood (1-0) in front. Jabari Brown had a team-leading 16 tackles and two sacks, while Alvin Enaharo added 14 tackles, a sack and an interception. Middle linebacker Jared Hudson made six tackles, and Chris Green rushed for 75 yards on nine carries. Whitman's Christopher Mallinson had a 55-yard punt return that set up the team's only touchdown - a 2-yard run by Darrell Felder. Felder had with 80 yards on 14 carries. Central Islip 43, Sachem East 10: Mike Cruz rushed for 174 yards and three first-quarter touchdowns as Central Islip (1-0) jumped out to a 30-0 lead. Darrel Flores added 199 rushing yards and one touchdown. The Musketeers rushed for over 400 yards. Eric McCoy went 4 for 8 passing for 120 yards. Christian Cruz had 75 receiving yards and an interception. Julian Ming made seven tackles and Dondre Baliey had five for a defensive unit that held Sachem East (0-1) to 136 total yards. Billy Merone scored the Flaming Arrows' only touchdown on a 2-yard run.

Sachem North 33, Patchogue-Medford 7: Dalton Crossan rushed for 122 yards and three touchdowns on 13 carries to lead North (1-0). Mike Andreassi rushed for 70 yards and two scores for North.
