Boljan Castillo's four touchdowns lead Valley Stream Central win

Boljan Castillo rushed for 191 yards and four touchdowns on 20 carries to lead Valley Stream Central to a 35-21 victory over Uniondale (1-7) yesterday in Nassau I football.
Castillo ran in between two tackles, had a cutback inside, and jetted down the left side of the field into the end zone for a 55-yard touchdown, giving Valley Stream Central (3-5) a 28-21 lead with five minutes remaining in the third. With the win, Valley Stream Central has qualified for their first playoff game since 1993.
"I'm so happy for the players," coach Frank Chimienti said. "It's really amazing."
Safetys Carlos Jackson and Mike Labarbara each had one interception. Defensive end Chris Robert led the defense with 10 tackles. As an outside linebacker, Castillo had nine tackles, including four for a loss.
Oceanside 35, Hempstead 22: Quarterback Vincent Guarino threw for 173 yards and three touchdowns to lead Oceanside (7-1) over Hempstead (2-6). Guarino also rushed for 23 yards and one touchdown on nine carries. He threw a 42-yard pass in the end zone to Kevin O'Keefe with 2:30 remaining in the half, giving Oceanside a 21-0 lead. Casey Kelly had five receptions for 73 yards and one touchdown. Free safety Conner Johnson led the defense with 11 tackles. Outside linebacker Joe Denaro had one sack and two tackles, including one for a loss.
Syosset 30, Hicksville 0: Hunter Gross completed 6 of 11 passes for 101 yards and a touchdown and Jake Gross scored on a 5-yard run to lead Syosset (5-3). Manraj Singh ran for 69 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries and Michael Elardo caught a 60-yard scoring pass in the win. Defensive backs Stephen Hutchingson and Anthony Carchietta and linebacker E.J. Aronson led the way for Syosset's defense. Hicksville drops to 1-7.
