Brett Osman rushes for 218 yards as Miller Place improves to 4-0

Liam Walsh connected with Kevin O'Connor on a 10-yard touchdown pass with 5:45 left to break a scoreless tie and propel Miller Place to a 15-6 win over Bellport Saturday in Suffolk III.
Brett Osman, who finished with 218 yards on 38 carries, followed with a three-yard TD run on the next drive for Miller Place (4-0). Joe Filappetti had three of the Panthers' seven sacks. Bellport moves to 2-2.
Islip 35, Rocky Point 20: Wynell Michaud had 168 yards and three TDs on 13 carries, including a 70-yard score in the third quarter, to lead Islip (3-1) over Rocky Point (0-4). Quarterback Kieran Mullins had 67 yards rushing, and Dominic Sciara added 66 yards. Nick Finnegan had nine tackles.
Amityville 24, Harborfields 7: Sean Walters ran for 160 yards and a TD on 17 carries to lead Amityville (2-2) over Harborfields (0-4). Walters broke three tackles for a 22-yard TD run, and also intercepted a pass and returned it for a 25-yard score for a 14-0 lead in the first quarter. Cam Grady ran for 101 yards and a TD on 17 carries.
Westhampton 31, Comsewogue 7: Steven Tagliavia tossed two TD passes, including a 19-yarder to Tim Hoare, to lead Westhampton (2-2). Patrick Dean rushed for 125 yards and a TD, and Evan Gagne added 106 yards. Senior Max Pastor hit a school-record 48-yard field goal with 32 seconds left in the third quarter to give Westhampton a 24-0 lead.
Deer Park 37, Kings Park 20: Jasawn Thompson rushed for 149 yards on 21 carries and three TDs for Deer Park (3-1). His 47-yard TD run with 4:00 left in the third gave the Falcons a 16-14 lead. Kyle Lessick iced it with a 20-yard interception return with 2:00 left. Thomas Reed had two sacks and recovered a fumble.
