Christian Mueller rushed for 113 yards on eight carries, including a 52-yard touchdown run in the first quarter to lead Plainview JFK to a 14-12 upset win over Freeport in Nassau I football Friday night.

Alec Abramowitz scored on a 10-yard run to cap a 73-yard drive in the second quarter to give Plainview JFK a 14-0 lead. Freeport scored with 1:07 left and they went for a two-point conversion and the pass failed. Plainview JFK recovered the ensuing onsides kick to seal the win. Max Friedman had 12 tackles and Chris Pastier had eight tackles to lead Plainview JFK.

"This is the biggest win in Plainview football history," Plainview JFK coach Chris Rogler said. Plainview JFK joined Nassau I in 1991. The highest seeded team they previously beat was seven. Freeport is seeded five and Plainview JFK is the lowest seed at No. 12.
