CHSFL roundup: St. Anthony's, Holy Trinity victorious

Dante Torres completed 28 of 38 passes for 530 yards and four touchdowns, and rushed for 30 yards and three scores on five carries in St. Anthony’s 48-42 win over Iona Prep in CHSFL-AAA. Torres’ final score, a 1-yard run in the fourth quarter, put the Friars ahead 48-42. Ian Strong caught 13 passes for 246 yards and three touchdowns and Korey Duff added six catches for 77 yards and a score. Timmy Longo caught four passes for 94 yards and Nick Matos had 79 yards on two receptions for St. Anthony’s (3-0).
Holy Trinity 40, Fordham Prep 0: Rocco Rainone threw three touchdown passes in the first quarter, including an 83-yard score and a 15-yard TD to Josiah Brown in CHSFL Class A-I. Kicker Evan Glusic made a 43- and 53-yarder for Trinity (4-0).
Kennedy Catholic 47, St. Dominic 7: Jonathan Bartolomei caught a 21-yard touchdown pass from Cole Cruz in non-league for St. Dominic (1-2).
