Devin Page completed 15 of 17 passes for 173 yards and two touchdowns and had four carries for 54 yards and a touchdown to lead Kellenberg over Fordham Prep, 38-14, in a CHSFL Class AAA football game on Friday.
Matthew Watterson caught eight passes for 109 yards and two touchdowns and had seven tackles as Kellenberg improved to 2-0. Sean Cannon and Jake Grimm each had an interception.
St. John the Baptist 21, Christ the King 18: Michael Wheat completed 16 of 23 passes for 123 yards and a touchdown to lead St. John the Baptist (2-0) in CHSFL. Elijah Alvarez added 15 carries for 136 yards and a 24-yard touchdown with 2:37 remaining in the third quarter to extend the lead to 21-12.
Jayson Zeva recorded eight receptions for 77 yards and a touchdown. Sean Dennehy had nine tackles and a sack, and Luca Skoda added seven tackles and an interception.
Paramus 21, Chaminade 20: Matt Dieguez completed 16 of 22 passes for 214 yards and a touchdown for Chaminade (1-1) in non-league. Jack Tully rushed for 171 yards and had two touchdowns. Gavin Creo caught eight passes for 61 yards and a touchdown.
