Marcus Abellard caught four passes for 80 yards and a TD, adding five tackles and an INT for Holy Trinity (5-2) in its 20-17 home win over St. Peter’s in CHSFL on Saturday. It’s the fourth consecutive win for the Titans, securing their best season since fall 2022.
Ian Williams completed 14 of 19 passes for 202 yards, two TDs and two INTs, running 10 times for 52 yards. He also had seven tackles and an INT. Joe Henn caught five passes for 65 yards and had an INT and seven tackles. Damarien Singh ran 10 times for 50 yards. Ja’Sean Grafton caught two passes for 52 yards and a TD.
St. Anthony’s 49, Stepinac 21: Xavier Bala rushed for 117 yards and three touchdowns on 19 attempts to lead St. Anthony’s (7-3). Anthony Diieso completed 14-of-21 passes for 216 yards and two TDs. Kevin Moore had five receptions for 64 yards and a score. Christian Bordeaux had 52 rushing yards and a TD. The Friars have scored at least 30 points in four consecutive games.
Iona Prep 48, Kellenberg 13: John Hastings caught a 35-yard receiving TD and a 40-yard receiving TD from Patrick Ciampa for Kellenberg (1-7).
Christ the King 44, St. Dominic 6: Louis Gounaris threw a 45-yard touchdown to Nick Lang for St. Dominic (1-5) in its home loss.
FRIDAY’S GAME
Chaminade 21, Cardinal Hayes 18: Sean Carnevale led Chaminade to a comeback win, completing a 6-yard TD pass to Nick Sweeney with 38 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter. Carnevale also threw a 10-yard TD to Sean Powers as Chaminade (3-4) battled back from an early 12-point deficit, outscoring Cardinal Hayes 21-6 over the final three quarters. Justin Jones kicked two field goals of 41 and 35 yards.
