Freeport High School #10 returns a fumble 55 yards for a pivotal touchdown with 7:08 remaining in the fourth quarter of a Nassau County varsity football Conference III semi-final playoff game vs. Oceanside at Shuart Stadium, located on the campus of Hofstra University. The score thwarted Oceanside momentum and gave Freeport a 32-21 lead. The ensuing two point conversion attempt was successful. Freeport went on to win 41-27. (Nov. 12, 2011)
