Czeczotka, Glenn roll past Hampton Bays
Rich Czeczotka completed all 14 pass attempts for 218 yards and three TDs, and had 50 yards on four carries, as No. 1 Glenn (8-1) beat No. 8 Hampton Bays (4-5), 48-8, yesterday in the Suffolk IV quarterfinals. Nick Wagner had five catches for 98 yards and two TDs. Tom Forsberg added two TDs. John Mannix had eight tackles and 1.5 sacks. Glenn hosts No. 4 Babylon, Saturday at 1 p.m.
Babylon 27, Shoreham-Wading River 2: Eric Schweitzer had 102 yards and a TD on 15 carries for No. 4 Babylon (7-2) over No. 5 SWR (6-3). Nahari Jenkins rushed for 21 yards and two scores on eight carries and added an interception.
Amityville 39, Center Moriches 14: Sean Walters had five TDs, three passing and two rushing, as No. 2 Amityville (8-1) beat No. 7 Center Moriches (5-4). Walters was 14-of-22 for 249 yards and three TDs, and had 72 yards and two scores on 14 carries. Elijah Kelly had four catches for 144 yards, two TDs and an interception. Willie White had 66 rushing and 39 receiving yards with one TD. Amityville hosts No. 3 Mt. Sinai, Saturday at 1 p.m.
Mt. Sinai 47, Port Jefferson 13: Mike Donadio had 90 yards and two TDs on 11 carries and a 90-yard kickoff return for a score to lead No. 3 Mt. Sinai (7-2) over No. 6 Port Jefferson (5-4). Mark Donadio had 105 yards on 14 carries and a TD. Pat Hogan had four catches for 80 yards, with seven tackles and a 90-yard interception return for a score.
