Tyler Fredericks had 227 rushing yards, three rushing touchdowns and one receiving TD and brother Ryan Fredericks had 201 yards and four TDs on 23 carries as No. 2 Lawrence beat No. 7 Hewlett, 62-32, in a Nassau III quarterfinal Saturday.

Leading 35-32 with just under two minutes left in the third quarter, Lawrence (8-1) scored 27 unanswered points in the final 14 minutes. Tyler Fredericks scored on a 72-yard run and a 50-yard reception and Ryan scored on runs of 6 and 7 yards. Eddie Robinson had 10 tackles and two forced fumbles and Matt Leone had 11 tackles, including four for a loss.

Lawrence plays No. 3 Lynbrook at 10 a.m. Saturday at Hofstra in the semifinals. Hewlett finished 4-5.

Lynbrook 33, Division 13: Luke Spitzer ran for 158 yards and two scores and had a 90-yard kickoff return for a TD to lead No. 3 Lynbrook (6-3) over No. 6 Division (6-3). Anthony Ranone had four catches for 56 yards and two TDs for Lynbrook, which had 360 yards of offense. Matt Trotta had seven tackles. Lynbrook plays No. 2 Lawrence at 10 a.m. Saturday at Hofstra in the semis.

Plainedge 47, Manhasset 15: Sophomore Gianfranco Sorriente had a career-high 205 yards to go with a TD on 16 carries and had a 15-yard TD catch to lead No. 4 Plainedge (6-3) over No. 5 Manhasset (5-4). Nick Frenger was 8-for-13 for 165 yards and three TDs, two to Tyler Manez (81 yards) who had two interceptions. Ralph Caccavale had 105 yards and two TDs on 10 carries for the Red Devils. Plainedge scored five TDs in the second quarter to take a 41-3 lead at the half. Dan Spurgeon had 12 tackles and one sack. Plainedge plays No. 1 Bethpage at 1 p.m. Saturday at Hofstra in the semis.
