Great performances in high school football

Jordan Gowins | St. Anthony's
The senior halfback had 185 yards rushing and two touchdowns in a 38-10 win over previously unbeaten Chaminade.
Raymond Jones | Roosevelt
The senior made nine tackles, four for losses including three sacks, from his defensive end spot and also caught a touchdown pass as a tight end in a 53-0 victory over West Hempstead.
Cody Smith | Riverhead
The senior quarterback completed 15 of 18 passes for 142 yards in a 33-21 win over West Islip. He also had a scoring run.
Ray Catapano | Carey
The senior quarterback completed 17 of 28 passes for 225 yards and five touchdowns in a 41-3 win over Mepham.
Connor Coughlin | Patchogue-Medford
The senior wide receiver caught 10 passes for 231 yards and three touchdowns in a 53-18 win over Half Hollow Hills East. He has 52 catches this season and 115 for his career.
Jeremiah Cheatom | Riverhead
He rushed for 228 yards on 38 carries and scored three touchdowns in a 33-21 win over West Islip.
Marcus Gutierrez | Connetquot
The senior halfback ran for 278 yards on 34 carries and six touchdowns in a 40-30 win over Northport. The six touchdowns tied the school record, set by Mike Pellegrino in 2010, coach Mike Hansen said.
Cole Zeller | Eastport-South Manor
He had 23 carries for 235 yards and two touchdowns in a 40-26 win over Kings Park.
Brendan Hughes | East Hampton
He had two kickoff returns and an interception return for a touchdown in a 33-12 win over Wyandanch. He returned the opening kickoff 99 yards and had an 85-yard return late in the first half.
Matt Selts | Sayville
He rushed for 206 yards on 20 carries and five touchdowns in a 41-20 win over Comsewogue. His touchdowns came from 6, 12, 3, 68 and 11 yards.
Craig Berge | Massapequa
He had six receptions for 186 yards and three touchdowns and added an interception in a 41-6 Plainview JFK. He was also 5-for-6 on PAT's.
Fred Gray | Division
The tailback had 26 carries for 304 yards and two touchdowns in a 41-17 win over New Hyde Park.
