Gridiron Greats for Week 6 in Long Island high school football

DANIEL CASEY, Valley Stream South: He had 18 carries for 130 yards and five scores in a 68-64 win over Division. He also passed for a touchdown.
CARSON CIAIO, Northport: He had two interceptions and caught a 55-yard TD pass in a 16-14 win over Huntington.
JOE COMPETIELLO, Glenn: He tallied seven total TDs in a 48-10 win over SWR. He had 19 carries for 216 yards and four TDs, threw for 108 yards and two scores and returned a kickoff for a TD.
ANTHONY DIIESO, St. Anthony’s: He completed 15 of 16 passes for 158 yards and three TDs and added 11 carries for 93 yards and a score in a 33-19 win over Chaminade.
HARRY EYNON, Port Washington: He passed for 282 yards and five TDs in a 38-13 win over Herricks/Wheatley.
BRIAN FALK, Seaford: He scored three TDs and had over 280 all-purpose yds in a 49-28 win over Lynbrook.
LUKE GARGUILO, Massapequa: He carried 10 times for 114 yards and two TDs and was 6-for-8 for 105 yards in a 28-3 win over Farmingdale.
JACK HALPIN, Islip: He had seven catches for 248 yards and three scores in a 48-42 win over Half Hollow Hills West.
JAYDEN JOHNSON, Malverne: He ran for 143 yards on 17 carries and three TDs in a 34-19 win over Lawrence.
SONNY KOWALEVICH, Connetquot: He had 10 tackles, including two for loss, and two sacks in a 42-14 win over Centereach.
LUKE MARTINI, Wantagh: He ran 14 times for 145 yards and two touchdowns and threw for an 18-yard score on a fake field goal in a 35-12 win over Bethpage.
JASON PEREZ, Division: He caught three passes for 96 yards and a TD, returned a kickoff 78 yards for a TD, and had five carries for 33 yards and three TDs.
JACK RAO, Islip: He completed 25 of 35 passes for 505 yards and five TDs and rushed for 125 yards and a score in a 48-42 win over Hills West.
JAKE REARICK, Smithtown West: He had five catches for 193 yards and three TDs in a 41-14 win over Rocky Point.
LINCOLN RIGGS, Commack: He threw for 496 yards and five TDs in a 53-43 loss to North Babylon.
ANTHONY SCALI, Bellmore JFK: He rushed for three TDs and had kickoff return TDs of 80 and 90 yards in a 49-14, win over Roslyn/Friends Academy.
BRANDON SHAPIRO, Kings Park: He completed 24 of 32 passes for five TDs and a school record 457 yards in a loss to Miller Place.
VSS O-LINE: Emmanuel Williams, Hunter Rush, Angel Cruz, Sherry Raza and Eric Kaneev paved the way for the Falcons’ 449 rushing yards in a 68-64 win over Division.
