Brian Healy made up half of East Meadow's offense as he scored on a 71-yard interception return and a 48-yard reception in the Jets' 27-7 win over Hicksville in Nassau Conference I football Saturday.

Shin-shun Kang paced the East Meadow rushing attack with 93 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries, Brandon Noblett had seven tackles and Jared Biunno had an interception to lead the Jets defense. East Meadow improves to 4-1 and Hicksville is 3-2.

Massapequa 27, Plainview JFK 7: Vassilli Grigorakis, who carried 13 times for 96 yards, also returned a kickoff 80 yards to give Massapequa a 20-7 halftime lead in Conference I. Bobby Neu found Steve Romano for a touchdown on a 16-yard slant in the fourth quarter to provide the final margin for Massapequa (3-2). Rich Staubitz had 11 tackles to lead the Massapequa defense. Plainview JFK is 1-4.

Freeport 41, Syosset 7: Dan Olivier scored all three of his touchdowns during a 29-point second quarter for Freeport (4-1) in Conference I. Olivier finished with 170 yards on 11 carries and two TDs rushing and chipped in a five-yard touchdown reception in the waning minutes of the second quarter to make it 27-0. He added five tackles and one fumble recovery. Jere Brown had four tackles and two interceptions. Isaiah Barnes threw for 108 yards and two TDs and carried six times for 45 yards and a touchdown.

Uniondale 42, Herricks 0: William Stanback had 11 carries for 137 yards and three touchdowns for Uniondale (2-3) in Conference I. Darrell Fuller had nine rushes for 87 yards and a score. Nyder Chardonette was 7-for-7 in extra points, and five of his seven kickoffs were touchbacks.

Rayan Reid had one interception and Khalid Murray had eight tackles, including two for losses, leading a defense that limited Herricks (1-4) to just 87 yards of total offense.

MacArthur 20, Baldwin 13: Brett Ellers scored on a 10-yard run with 11 minutes left in the fourth quarter to lift MacArthur (3-2) in Conference I. Trailing 13-6, MacArthur's Nick Meadows scored on a 10-yard run, tying the score with five minutes to go in the first half. Tom Joyce led MacArthur with 11 tackles and a sack, while Ellers and Brad Griminger each had six tackles. Baldwin falls to 3-2.
