Nicholas Cipolla rushed for 208 yards and three touchdowns on eight carries to guide third-seeded St. John the Baptist (4-4) to a 53-20 win over visiting No. 6 St. Francis Prep Sunday in a CHSFL AA quarterfinal.

Michael Maliszewski's blocked punt resulted in a safety and on the ensuing free kick, Nikita Fitzgerald returned it 50 yards for a touchdown to give St. John the Baptist a 22-0 lead.

The Cougars will host Xavier in a semifinal.

Chaminade 35, Christ the King 20: Nick Crennan's 2-yard touchdown run capped a 21-point first quarter for top-seeded Chaminade (3-6) in a CHSFL AA quarterfinal win over No. 8 Christ the King on Saturday at Mitchel Athletic Complex. John Tigh's 40-yard punt return for a touchdown gave the Flyers a 35-14 lead in the third quarter. The Flyers will host the St. Joseph by the Sea/Mount Saint Michael Academy winner.
