Jake Koppelman ran for 235 yards with three touchdowns on 15 carries Saturday to lead Smithtown East in a 54-20 rout of Centereach in Suffolk II.

Koppleman opened the scoring with a 40-yard run in the first quarter. His second score, a 1-yard run, gave the Bulls a 37-0 lead late in the second quarter. Koppelman also recorded a safety with 58 seconds left in the first quarter and finished with eight tackles and a fumble recovery. John Daniggelis ran for 105 yards, including a 70 yard run for a score, on five carries. Billy Noke had six carries for 99 yards and touchdown and 10 tackles. Smithtown East totaled 527 yards of offense, 481 of which were rushing yards.

North Babylon 24, Half Hollow Hills West 10: Jake Connor scored three touchdowns, including the go-ahead touchdown with 21 seconds left in the second quarter to give North Babylon a 12-10 lead. Connor finished with 77 yards and rushing on 14 carries. Melijah Purvis added a 21-yard touchdown in the third quarter and finished with 61 yards rushing. Matt Grassa had six tackles in the win.
